PILOTREK is a low-cost radar level sensor designed as a qualitatively higher replacement for ultrasonic sensors, especially in water and wastewater treatment.

The flood-proof housing of the sensor with IP 68 protection ensures its long-term maintenance-free operation.

Oblasti použití

Bezkontaktní měření výšky hladiny kapalin a kalů nebo sypkých látek větších frakcí.

Snímač je schopen měřit kapaliny a to i pod vysokým tlakem a za extrémních teplot. Lze jej proto použít při sledování hladiny jímek odpadních vod. Snímač je vhodný i pro aplikace s nejvyššími hygienickými požadavky. Měření přitom není ovlivněno ani kondenzací na snímači nebo pěnou na měřené hladině.

Při měření sypkých látek je snímač odolný jak proti akustickému rušení při plnění, tak proti vysoké prašnosti a ulpívání prachu na snímači.

The principle of measurement

The sensor transmits a frequency modulated radar signal in the 80 GHz band via an antenna system. The frequency of the signal varies in a sawtooth pattern. The transmitted signal reflected from the medium is received by the antenna as an echo with a changed frequency. The change in frequency is proportional to the measured distance.

Holders and radiation covers for radar level gauges

The stainless steel holder DUK1 or DUK2 can be ordered together with the PiloTREK level gauge. Both holders are characterized by their robust design and contain a radiation sensor cover open on only one side, which can also serve as a protection against vandalism.

The DUK1 holder is designed for mounting on a vertical mast using stainless steel Bandimex strips, the DUK2 holder is adapted for mounting on a horizontal boom using stainless steel brackets.
